2,000 guests from 36 countries celebrated in high spirits on 9 March 2018 the winners of this year's iF DESIGN AWARD at BMW Welt in Munich. The glamourous awards ceremony was followed by an exciting party night.
Wave / F60 stroller was a winner of this year’s iF DESIGN AWARD, a world-renowned design prize. Our stroller won in the discipline "Product", in the category "babies / kids".Each year, the world’s oldest independent design organization, Hannover-based iF International Forum Design GmbH, organizes the iF DESIGN AWARD. Wave won over the 63-member jury, made up of independent experts from all over the world. The competition was intense: over 6,400 entries were submitted from 54 countries in hopes of receiving the seal of quality.More information can be found in the “Design Excellence” section of the iF WORLD DESIGN GUIDE.For 65 years, the iF DESIGN AWARD has been recognized as an arbiter of quality for exceptional design. The iF label is renowned worldwide for outstanding design services, and the iF DESIGN AWARD is one of the most important design prizes in the world. Submissions are awarded in the following disciplines: Product, Packaging, Communication and Service Design/UX, Architecture and Interior Architecture as well as Professional Concept. For the “Huis van de Sport Limburg”, Urban planner and artist Roel Meertens and graphic design studio Zodus have created a communication concept for "Open Club"; an initiative to bring clubs, people, communities and businesses together to create a kind of "hotspo(r)t" in a neighborhood, village or town.
Lift5 has produced a number of objects, based on the 2D designs, with the use of their 3D printer. These objects have supported the presentation of the concept to various parties involved.

Statement by the jury: "The Priam stroller makes a timeless impression in spite of a modern formal language, and it convinces with regard to its functionality due to its high degree of flexibility."The Priam pays homage to the works of Ray and Charles Eames with design influence from their furniture classics. The result is a versatile travel system: a carry cot, an infant car seat and a seat unit can be used on the same frame. Therefore, the Priam firstly serves as pram, then, as the child gets older, as a forward- or rear-facing stroller.
